Derby 5k Race For Life 10th/11th may 2008
Cancer Research UK are once again hosting the 2008 Race for Life two day event at Darley Park. With a fundraising target of £215000 they'd love you to be a part of this fantastic event to raise money for cancer research.
Sponsored by the Derby Evening Telegraph and Derby City Council the course takes female runners, joggers and walkers of all ages around the picturesque Darley Park. Some runners being cancer survivors, others carrying personal messages for friends or family lost to the disease but all united in the fight for the cure. The event is marshalled by the Shelton Striders running club members and are proud to help out over the course of the weekend.
