Handicaps Rules
The main and possibly only rule for the handicaps is that at least 5 runs in one distance have to be completd for anyone to win the series.
The handicap given is based upon known times over the period or on times from previous years or on times given by the runner if it is the first time of competing. If the handicap time has not been beaten in 3 runs then the previous best handicap time is used. These times are recorded by Brian Budd.
The winner of a handicap race is not necessarily the first person to cross the line but the person who has beaten their handicap time by the greatest margin.
